Hola! 

In the last update, we included 2 photos and it wasn't clear whether to vote on the first photo or the second. To be absolutely clear that we know what majority wants, please vote on photo below. 

Option 1 - The top card with darker pink and shaded background detailing.

Option 2 - The middle card with lighter pink and white background detailing.

We hear that some of you like the foil regardless of the detailing quality / readability. Thing is....there are more problems than just that. In order to achieve this look, we had to make the foil cards 3x as thick and it's very evident in game play which card is an expansion - this makes cheating easy. With foil, we also weren't able to achieve a nice linen backside on the card, so they are physically and visually distinguishable.  

Since it's so difficult to read from most angles, when you are playing the game and you lay down the card, the opponents can't read the card you laid down, which makes game play a real challenge (especially for a drinking game).  If we continued pursuing foil, it's going to take at least 2-3 more samples (8-12 weeks added to timeline) and doesn't even guarantee that we can make it work. This would put a massive delay on our fulfillment and your timeline in receiving the game.

There were just too many hurdles for foiling the expansion, it makes game play difficult and ultimately the most important thing is get an excellent product to you, and within a fair time frame.

Final samples are in & we need your vote /// Pledge manager update

Thank you for your patience as we get prepped to begin production. 

Note: Our BackerKit pledge manager will be opening in a couple of days. Please make sure to fill out your correct mailing address (one that you will have access to between Nov-Dec). 

In the meantime, here are some product updates!  We need your vote on the pink colour (scroll down), so make sure to let us know in the comments 

Our final samples have arrived! 

We are going to scrap the yellow backside of cards and go with black/white pattern. The yellow is a bit see through and can compromise game play in certain light. 

We made an honest attempt at rainbow foil cards, but it took away from the overall design work from Will and is more hard to read. 

Thankfully we also ordered samples without the foil, and they turned out so much better. 

So we will be going with that =) 

Let us know if you prefer the pink on the LEFT or the RIGHT in the comments section. 

Quality is really important to us, and we want to make sure that this is done right for you.

What happens  next?

We will send out surveys in a few days and more backer updates to keep you involved in the process.  You will see our final samples, you will know when we start manufacturing and you will know when we get our goodies onto some boats! We will keep you updated the whole way through. 

We will launch a Backerkit pledge manager in about 2 weeks where you can add-on more copies of the game, as well as both Shots Fired and Game-Breaker expansion packs.

It's the final stretch! 

Our campaign is almost over and we couldn't possibly have more gratitude towards you for helping bring this to life! 

We've got about 17 hours left on the campaign. It would be super amazing if you would share this on social media and help spread word for the final day.

Timeline

Our suppliers have the files and we are waiting on a couple of revisions of Shots Fired to ensure that they can reach the desired colour of pink. Neon was harder to achieve than we thought, but the production team is working with us to figure it out =) 

We should have the final samples in our hands by next week, and then we press the go button and put everything into production. The lead time to create the product is about 3 weeks and we should have the games on a boat by the end of this month or beginning of Sept.
